Ideas at Work is to push the licensed sales of the new pre-school series Olly the Little White Van, a series created by the company’s creative /managing director Henry Becket.

The 52-part series is being produced by the UK-based company Taylor Drew Productions and will be created using 3D HD CGI. The show is contracted to GMTV/CITV and due to start in autumn 2010 with each five-minute episode featuring an original song and an adventure carrying messages regarding road safety and the environment.

“I wanted it to be really fresh and seriously creative, but I also wanted its commercial potential to be immediate and obvious, and we know from our research that the concept of the useful white van is universally recognised,” said Becket. “The difference with ours is that he is fun…energetic… and always ready to help. Oh, and Olly and his friends are slightly wacky too, which makes for a lot of fun."

The series has attracted strong interest ahead of its global launch in New York at Kidscreen, with more than 20 broadcasters from around the world reportedly interested in the show.
