Imira Entertainment signs international distribution deal with TVE

Spanish distribution company Imira Entertainment has signed a global distribution deal with Spanish broadcaster TVE.

Imira will now represent a catalogue of TVE shows with plans to launch them at MIPCOM in October.

The shows now being handled by Imira include kids's programmes The Lunnis, Asha and Club Pizzicato, as well as spin-off shows Pizzicato and Leonart.

"TVE has a fantastic library of shows which Imira Entertainment is proud to be representing," said Sergi Reitg, CEO of Imira Entertainment.

"We have a proven track record of distributing Hispanic content worldwide and we look forward to taking these shows to global audiences."

The Lunnis, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, follows a cast of puppets as they educate audiences on topics ranging from ethics to the alphabet while Asha is a show focusing on promoting friendship, tolerance, and positive curiosity.

Children can enjoy an introduction to classical music in Club Pizzicato and spin-off show Pizzicato while science experiments form the focus of Leonart.
