DHX Media’s pre-school brand In the Night Garden is joining forces with the NSPCC for a campaign to help the charity engage with more kids and their parents.
The year-long initiative launches as part of the NSPCC’s Baby and Toddler Safety page that launched last month and features In the Night Garden lifestyle imagery, along with tips from the show’s sleep expert Mandy Gurney.
In addition, there will be a host of articles created by the NSPCC to assist parents.
The collaboration will also see a variety of fundraising activities, including the sale of a new range of In the Night Garden products from Truprint, due to launch later this summer.
The range will include cushions, blankets and greeting cards and see 25 per cent of the proceeds going to the NSPCC.
Debbie Walker, brand manager, DHX Brands, said: “We are extremely excited about this major collaboration with the NSPCC.
“It will not only enhance the In the Night Garden reputation as a trusted brand with parents but it will also provide a vital service for families who have trouble with their children’s sleeping habits and complement the NSPCC’s range of services for parents.”
Clare Hoyle, head of partnerships, NSPCC, added: “We are really looking forward to this new collaboration with In the Night Garden kicking off.
“Together we will be able to provide great entertainment to young children while at the same time offering top parenting tips for their mums and dads.
“At the same time a range of great new In the Night garden products will be hitting the shops, with a slice of the sale going direct to the NSPCC and its vital work preventing abuse and neglect happening to children and young people across the UK.”
