The Greg Norman Collection - the golf lifestyle apparel and accessories brand - has entered into the Indian retail market through a licensing and distribution agreement with Gurgaon franchiser, Better Than Before India.
The brand recently made its debut in the Indian market with the opening of an exclusive store in Gurgaon. Greg Norman Collection - a subsidiary of MacGregor Golf Company - sells from over 21 countries around the world.
The company plans to set up ten outlets by July next year, with the number rising to 50 in the next five years.
BTB CEO Rahul Singh commented: "The sportswear market is growing at a pace of 20-25 per cent, more so the lifestyle sportswear industry is growing significantly in India, making it a key market for a sports lifestyle brand like Greg Norman Collection."
The introduction of golf equipment into the Indian market is also currently being considered.
