Ink has been appointed by German firm m4e Group as the licensing and merchandising agent for its Mia and Me brand.

The company will be responsible for Eastern Europe, the Nordic, Baltic and CIS territories.

Mia and Me is currently produced by Lucky Punch. It debuted at Mipcom last year, after becoming one of the most requested programmes at Mip Junior.

"We are very excited to be representing Mia and Me," said Morten Geschwendtner, Ink CEO. "The property offers huge potential in licensing terms and we will be working closely with the team at m4e to build on this to produce a strong and diverse programme."

Hans Ulrich Stoef, CEO of m4e and general manager of Lucky Punch, added: "We are delighted to be working with such an experienced and thriving partner when adding Ink to the band of licence partners in order to develop Mia and Me into a successful international brand."
