ITV adds licensee brace to Thunderbirds programme

Truffle Shuffle and Peter Black come on board as licensing drive for classic brand builds.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has added apparel and gift lines to its Classic Thunderbirds licensing programme.

Truffle Shuffle has launched a range of men's and women's t-shirts and men's sweaters, illustrated with images of popular characters such as Brains, Lady Penelope and Parker.

"Our aim is to always look for brands and images that evoke the icons of the recent past but are fabulously cool today," explained Claire Wood, buyer at Truffle Shuffle. "The Classic Thunderbirds brand is the perfect realisation of that aim: stylish, exciting, unique, and a lot of fun."

Meanwhile, Peter Black Footwear and Accessories (PBFA) has launched a gift range for men exclusively at Marks & Spencer through its Gift Emporium.

The limited edition line includes sound key chains, washbags, mugs and eggcup sets.

Jane Adiller, category manager for Marks & Spencer with PBFA, commented: "The timing of this range is ideal. We're delighted to be bringing this stylish and much-loved brand to one of the biggest names in British retail."
