ITV Studios Global Entertainment has appointed Natalie Harvey as its new head of retail.

Harvey (pictured) will report to Trudi Hayward, SVP, head of global merchandise.

Her role will involve managing relationships with retailers and, where appropriate, negotiating direct to retail deals. She will be working with children's properties including Classic Thunderbirds, plus third party acquisitions, such as recent arrival Cut the Rope.

Harvey has spent some 15 years in the licensed entertainment industry. She has enjoyed stints as senior licensing manager at 20th Century Fox and, most recently, at Hasbro Europe where she held roles including European franchise development director, marketing director and licensing director.

"As our third party licensing business expands and our property portfolio grows, it is essential that we have a team with the flexibility and market experience to build on our success," said Hayward. "With her in-depth understanding of brand building, retail management, sales and negotiation, agent management and relationships, Natalie is the ideal person to help us achieve that.

"We are delighted to welcome her to the team."
