Florida-based toy firm Jazwares has put pen to paper on a deal with Art Impressions to create a line of So So Happy merchandise.

The agreement covers figures, plush and accessories and the first wave of product will be on sale in United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, LATAM and EMEA this spring.

“We are constantly on the lookout for popular entertainment brands that will translate seamlessly into figures and plush,” said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president global sales, Jazwares.

“So So Happy is much more than a quirky property; it’s a brand with a specific purpose – to build children’s self-confidence and inspire positivity and acceptance. We are pleased to partner with Art Impressions to support and help spread its important anti-bullying message in 2013 and beyond.”

The toys and accessories will feature the property’s ‘inspirational, whimsical and offbeat’ characters, including Lucky, Ozzie, Taco, Mad Dog and Tribe. Ten percent of proceeds from the toy line will go to charities which support young people all over the world.

“We are thrilled to partner with Jazwares on the So So Happy line of toys and figures,” said Cindy Bailey, president of Art Impressions and So So Happy Studio. “Jazwares’ existing portfolio of youth-focused brands, their track record for launching quality toys to that market, and their corporate mission to give back to the community makes them the ideal partner for this venture.”
