ITV Studios Global Entertainment has appointed Jean-Philippe Randisi to the newly created role of EVP and director of consumer products.

Reporting to Maria Kyriacou, MD, ITV Studios Global Entertainment, Randisi will lead the division’s full consumer products strategy, with responsibility for gaining maximum value from the businesses existing intellectual property portfolio and future content brands resulting from ITV Studios’ creative renewal.

This new appointment creates a unified consumer products team with responsibility for exploiting ITV Studios Global Entertainment’s intellectual property across DVD, publishing, licensed products and other off-air activities.

“Jean-Philippe is one of the most experienced consumer products experts in the industry; his depth of knowledge and success with properties such as SpongeBob Square Pants, Power Rangers, Dora the Explorer and South Park position him perfectly to lead this crucial area of transformation, ” said Kyriacou. “We are commited to becoming an organisation with the capability to reap maximum value from its existing and future intellectual property; both in the UK and internationally. We already have a talented team working across consumer products within ITV Studios Global Entertainment and under the direction of Jean-Philippe I am excited by what can be achieved from this strengthened position.”

Randisi added: "I am thrilled to be joining Maria and team to make the most of the wealth of opportunities ITV Studios Global Entertainment's portfolio already offers, and look towards future intellectual property development and exploitation so we establish ITV as a leading global brand builder."
