Bulldog Licensing has signed a new deal with Jumbo Games to develop a new range of games and puzzles based on CBeebies’ Mr Bloom’s Nursery.
The show combines live action and puppetry as a means to introduce youngsters to the world of farming, growing and nurturing plants.
Featuring a gang of vegetable friends, Mr Bloom’s Nursery is one of CBeebies’ highest rating pre-school shows on the network.
Jumbo now joins a burgeoning portfolio of licensees, including TCV for gardening and nature products, Little Babas for dress up, Portico for greetings and calendars and Random House for publishing.
“We are always looking to work with brands that have strong appeal to children and that’s why we have snapped up Mr Bloom’s Nursery,” said Katharine Pierce, senior marketing manager at Jumbo Games.
“As well as being hugely popular, it’s also very interactive which makes it perfect for puzzles and games.”
Vicky Hill of Bulldog Licensing, added: “This new agreement represents the latest in a series of deals for Mr Bloom’s Nursery.
“The UK licensing community is very enthusiastic about the brand and this has enabled us to establish some great deals with a presence that will continue to grow for this household favourite.”
