Classic Media has announced a series of new deals for Olivia.
Just Play has secured master toy rights to the brand and will make five to six inch plush beanies, a medium sized plush assortment and a “Bedtime” plush that plays music. A role-play line will also be launched this autumn. Figures and play-sets will launch in spring 2013.
LeapFrog will produce electronic learning software for its LeapPad and Leapster Explorer platforms.
Dalmatian Press will bolster the Olivia publishing programme with colouring and activity books and sticker books while Chronicle books will launch a series of novelty Olivia publications such as a cookbook with cookie cutters nd a paper doll play-set with flashcards. Publications International will introduce new educational SKUs.
To date more than eight million Olivia books have been sold worldwide since first publication in 2000 and this autumn Simon & Schuster will release a new 'classic' Olivia title.
