Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has received three nominations for best film, video game and the BAFTA Kids' Vote, which is the only award chosen by the public.

Other films nominated include Bridge to Terabithia (Walden Media), Flushed Away (Aardman) and Happy Feet (Warner), while in the video games sector Potter will be fighting Buzz Junior: Jungle Party (SCEE), Crash of the Titans (Vivendi) and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Traveller's Tales).

With the animation category, Charlie & Lola (Tiger Aspect), Shaun the Sheep (Aardman), The Secret Show (Collingwood O'Hare) and Oban Star Racers (Jetix) will be battling it out. Charlie & Lola is also nominated in the pre-school animation sector, up against Little Princess (Illuminated Films), Peppa Pig (Contender) and Pocoyo (Zinkia).
