KidsCo has announced a deal that sees the international children’s channel air in more countries across Europe and Africa. This move further establishes its plan to become one of the world’s biggest children’s channels.

The channel will air on P&T Luxembourg, Cyprus Telecom and London Satellite Systems in Mauritius. Romania will be airing KidsCo across Botu Communication, Dynamic Distribution and GMB Computers, while Poland will broadcast KidsCo on Telekomunikacja Polska. The television stations completing the new global line-up include Infrasat in Angola, On.net in Macedonia, Communique in Hungary and Sun Communications in Moldova.

"We knew 2009 would be a big year for us as we pushed further into Europe and Asia,” said MD Paul Robinson. “These deals will launch KidsCo into half a million new homes, bringing our brand of light-hearted edutainment to children across the world.”

This move is the latest in a series of expansions, with the channel adding new regions every month to its global catalogue, as well as signing a content deal with FremantleMedia.
