KidsCo has partnered with the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in a deal which will see it create original programming which celebrates the works of the author and the centre's activities.
A 60-second short will go on air across KidsCo in Asia from today (July 16th), following a successful launch in Western Europe. It emphasises the contribution Dahl has made to children's storytelling, while the clip also shows children enjoying the activities at the museum, including inventing new words and characters and creating animation sequences.
"Roald Dahl's works are recognised around the world and his ability to engage children in his wonderful adventures not only contributes to their enjoyment of storytelling, but enhances their ability to read and learn," said Eileen McCarthy, programme director at KidsCo. "We are thrilled to be linked to the Roald Dahl Museum through this project - it is an inspiring organisation that complements our vision closely."
