International children's channel KidsCo has revealed it is working with UNICEF UK in support of children's rights.
The channel will be producing and scheduling specific programming throughout February which will aim to encourage children to think about the world that they live in.
KidsCo will be airing 45-second clips which show kids from a UK school sharing their ideas of how they would change the world.
"KidsCo's viewers were very enthusiastic about our association with UNICEF's Global Handwashing Day, which we were involved with last year through The Wiggles, one of our most popular shows," explained Paul Robinson, KidsCo MD. "I was keen to build on this relationship with a project that encourages children to get involved and make changes in the world."
Paula Pearce, head of fundraising initiatives at UNICEF UK, added: "We are very excited about continuing our relationship with KidsCo and find its support in raising awareness about children's rights extremely valuable."
KidsCo's UNICEF clips will go on air in 18 languages across 85 countries and will be shown up to eight times each day.
