In what's been described as dream deal, Kidz Entertainment has been appointed by Lucas Licensing to represent classic sci-fi brand, Star Wars.
Morten Geschwendtner, CEO of Kidz Entertainment/EEMC, said: “Star Wars is an absolutely huge brand. It is something we have dreamt about since founding this company a decade ago and we will be doing all we can to deliver outstanding results in the coming years."
The firm will look to collaborate with its key partners, including Hasbro and Lego.
Howard Roffman, president of Lucas Licensing, added: “Star Wars has touched so many lives throughout the Nordics and Eastern Europe. We value the enthusiasm and perspective that Kidz brings to further developing the brand in these key markets and we look forward to working with them.“
There will be plenty of opportunity for the agent, with all Star Wars six films undergoing a 3D conversion. The Phantom Menace is set for a theatrical release next year.
