A Kimmidoll Junior digital app is on the way - as well as a line of toys and other physical products.
Early Bird Licensing has signed a deal for a digital app which will launch on iTunes this month.
The app allows kids to explore Kimmitown, make friends and play games.
In addition, Early Bird Licensing has signed a deal with Swedish toy firm Scanditoy for Kimmidoll Junior products.
Products will arrive in spring 2013 and include dolls, key rings, purses, journals, money boxes, notebooks, pens and more. These will arrive in retailers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
Other Kimmidoll Junior partners on board in Scandinavia are Björna Aps for a home textile and apparel range, and Group Royer for footwear.
”Apart from being an app that encourages children’s exploration and joy to play it is also the cutest and most adorable app ever. The brand and target group values are really captivated here”, said Louise Lindquist, co-partner at Early Bird Licensing.
”The app also opens for interesting cross promotional activities with other Kimmidoll Junior licensing partners and retailers, and it will provide a great opportunity to enhance the brand further for the target group."
The underlying message behind the Kimmidoll Junior brand is 'to promote the importance of friendship and fun'.
