A third series of Kindle Entertainment's Big and Small is due to begin airing on Cbeebies from Monday September 12th.

The new episodes again feature the voice talent of Lenny Henry for both characters. As with the first two series, the 26 new episodes each feature a new catchy song based around a different genre of music.

"It's fantastic to be able to return to Big and Small's world and have the opportunity to create more laugh out loud stories for them," said Anne Brogan, executive producer at Kindle. "The brand new episodes of Big and Small are as warm and witty as ever, and will delight Cbeebies fans and new viewers alike."

The licensing programme for Big and Small includes HarperCollins, Bandai Namco, Paper Projects, C&M Licensing and Little Star Creations. The characters are also regularly featured in pre-school magazines, Cbeebies Weekly and BBC Toybox Magazine.

With the pre-school market being one of the most competitive in licensing, the challenges facing any newcomer to the sector are great.
