Krispy Kreme celebrates 30 years of Ghostbusters with themed doughnuts

The Ghostbusters are about to turn gut-busters as Krispy Kreme launches a range of doughnuts to celebrate the franchise.

The doughnut specialist has teamed with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters with two new Kreme-filled, themed treats.

Coinciding with the release of the Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, Krispy Kreme is launching a Ghostbusters and Stay Puft Marshmallow doughnuts.

The spooky snacks will be available from September 29th to October 31st at Krispy Kreme outlets across the US and Canada, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“We are truly excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic Ghostbuster brand,” said Dwayne Chambers, Krispy Kreme chief marketing and innovations officer.

“We are delwighted to bring our fans two delicious limited edition treats that are as unique, creative and joyful as this beloved film franchise.”
