Ladybird and Penwizard are moving into the print on demand publishing sector, securing a deal with E1 Entertainment to use its popular Peppa Pig character.
Ladybird has published a range of Peppa Pig book formats since 2005, enjoying strong success with over 1.1 million books sold to date (source: Nielsen Bookscan).
The new agreement with Penwizard will allow Ladybird to offer consumers the ultimate in personalised gifting. Visitors to www.peppapigandme.com will be able to place their child into the character's world by creating and naming an avatar based on their appearance.
The end result is a unique book starring the child, which can be printed and mailed within a couple more clicks.
