After enjoying solid success with its range of books for the first film, Ladybird Books will again work with Warner Bros Consumer Products on Happy Feet Two.

Penguin Children's Books will publish a five title programme including a novel, storybook, sticker activity, sound book and Little Library slipcase containing six mini books under the Ladybird imprint.

The books will launch before the film, available in the UK from October. The film hits cinema screens in December.

"We had great success with our publishing programme behind the first Happy Feet film and we're honoured to be Warner Brothers' publishing partner for the sequel," said Eric Huang, publishing director for Penguin Children's Books Media & Entertainment division.
