Larkshead Media to manage Cbeebies show Numberblocks

Larskhead Media has been appointed to manage licensing opportunities for hit Cbeebies show Numberblocks by brand owner Alphablock Ltd.

Numberblocks is both a popular pre-school TV show and a revolutionary maths brand, using humour, inventive animation, fun characters and engaging storylines to teach children under the age of six how to count, add, andunderstand how numbers really work.

Larkshead will be focussing on initial target categories for the property will including toys, jigsaws, games, cards, publishing and apparel. Partnerships and promotions with educational groups are also seen as key opportunities.

Larkshead Media will launch the licensing campaign officially at the Blue Zoo stand (F14) during this year’s Brand Licensing Europe at Olympia in October. 

From this autumn The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) will be bringing Numberblocks resources to UK classrooms to aid the primary school teaching of maths, boosting the reach of the brand.

"It certainly understands the potential of Numberblocks, a show that enjoys a strong following and has enormous long-term licensing potential across a wide range of categories.”

Its potential, in entertainment, education and licensed output, is significant.
