Lawless Entertainment has appointed Mondo TV S.p.A as worldwide distributor (excluding North America) for the Little Suzy's Zoo animated series.

Mondo TV will be tying up broadcast, cable, satellite, home video and DVD commitments for the series, which consists of 26 two-minute episodes.

The series follows the adventures of Witzy, a fluffy duckling who spends days in the sunshine amidst laundry endlessly drying on the clothesline with his teddy bear Boof, musical bunny rabbit Lulla, the calico giraffe Patches and the chenille elephant Ellie Funt.

Each two-minute episode is faithfully illustrated in 2D from the watercolour-like images and stories of Suzy's Zoo.

"It amazes me to see my characters come to life and run around in the big back yard," said Suzy Spafford, creator of Suzy's Zoo. "I hope people everywhere will catch on to Witzy's sunny spirit and whimsical playfulness."

Matteo Corradi, CEO of Mondo TV, added: "Suzy's Zoo is a wonderful series which perfectly meets the values we want to transmit to our young public."

Cathy Malatesta, Lawless Entertainment president, concluded: "We are thrilled to be working with the Mondo team to introduce these adorable animated episodes to the rest of the world."
