Magazine publisher Titan has revealed record sales for its LazyTown Magazine, with the most recent issue selling 38,000 copies.
This figure was up 164 per cent on the previous issue. Sales were also up period on period on its previous ABC figure of 31,000 (Jan-June 2009).
"LazyTown Magazine successfully takes the well-loved world of LazyTown and its ethos about healthy eating and keeping active, and combines it with fantastic editorial content - stories, puzzles, games and features," said Jo Browne, brand manager at Titan. "The magazine is a natural extension of the LazyTown brand and combined with excellent free gifts is a great package for both children and their parents."
LazyTown brand and licensing director Europe, Katie Foster, added: "I am delighted with LazyTown Magazine's performance. It's thanks to the hard work of everyone at Titan that has helped the magazine buck the pre-school sales trend and grow in these difficult times."
