Li & Fung acquires TV Mania

Bloomberg report says firm bought European apparel licensee, along with four other companies.

Bloomberg has reported that Li & Fung has acquired five companies since March 24th, one of which is European licensed clothing specialist, TV Mania.

The other firms picked up include clothing supplier Loyaltex Apparel, cosmetics maker Collection 2000, Exim Designs and Hampshire Designers.

Across Europe, TV Mania has 52 licences from 30 licensors, with the biggest being Hello Kitty, Spider-man, Ben 10, WWE, Bob the Builder, Bakugan, Disney, Star Wars and Smurfs.

Its UK arm is based near Hitchin in Hertfordshire.
