There may still be 175 days to go until Christmas, but the UK's largest toy retailer, Woolworths, has made its predictions for the top ten toys which will keep the tills ringing this festive season - and the majority of them are licensed.

Star Wars Clone Wars Lego, the Indiana Jones Replica Whip, Ben 10 Omnitrix Watch, In The Night Garden Upsy Daisy in her Bed and High School Musical Sing Together Dolls (Sharpay, Troy and Gabriella) have all been listed.

Also making up the most wanted listing are the Rubiks Cube, Meebas (similar to Tamagotchi), Bakugan Battle Arena (a Beyblades-style card-based warrior game), Catcha Beast (which allows kids to trade, battle and play with collectable electronic beasts and ghouls) and Leapfrog Tag (a pen-shaped instrument that uses computer and infrared technology to read to children as it runs over specially created books), which boasts a number of licensed books.

"This year's top ten list is packed with a mix of new hits and old favourites," said Steve Jebson, commercial director at Woolworths.

"If you want to impress your daughter on Christmas Day, learn all the words from High School Musical 2 songs; there will be many a household banging out the hits from the movie."
