Licensees line up for Jelly Jamm

Vodka Capital reveals first deals for musical comedy series.

A series of licensing and merchandising deals have been finalised by Vodka Capital for its Jelly Jamm property.

The firm is building on its set of international pay TV and free TV broadcasting partners, with agents including Turner Enterprises in EMEA, El Ocho in Spain and Portugal, Exim Licensing in Latam and Televisa CP in Mexico.

El Ocho has already signed deals with STOR for homeware, SAFTA for back to school products and Clementoni for educational games, all of which will launch in 2013.

Televisa, meanwhile, has signed licences for Fotorama for toys, ATM for back to school, Granmark for party goods and Convergram for metallic balloons in Mexico.

"Spain and Mexico have been the first territories where we have started to close L&M deals and we have been really impressed with the appetite for Jelly Jamm in the marketplace," said Steven Posner, managing partner at Vodka Capital. "This has set a very favourable precendent as our other L&M partners (Turner and Exim) initiate their commercial activities and we are hopeful that additional deals will be closed soon."
