LICENSING EXPO 2017: A+E Networks partner with Franco for housewares and textiles categories

New products for shows including from History, Lifetime and A+E will head to retail in Spring 2018.

A+E Networks has partnered with Franco to bring popular television properties to texiles and housewares.

The new multi-year licensing agreement includes licensing rights for History’s Ancient Aliens, The Curse of Oak Island, SIX and Knightfall; as well as Lifetime's Bring It! and A+E’s Duck Dynasty.

Franco will develop and distribute multi-category collections inspired by each property, encompassing bedding and bedding accessories, beach towels, beach accessories and decorative bath products. Merchandise will be available in-store and online at department stores, mass retailers and specialty retailers starting spring 2018 in the US and Canada.

“We are excited to be working with Franco, a manufacturing and retail expert, to introduce new product lines for our core franchises and buzzed-about series for fans to enjoy in fun new ways,” commented Jill Tully, vice president, brand licensing, A+E Networks.
