A number of prize donations and sponsorships have been confirmed for the upcoming Light Fund Charity National Golf Day.
The event is being held on Thursday, May 8th at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club, and is being organised by Patrick Bailey from Blues Clothing (helped by DRi's Alicia Davenport).
So far, prizes on offer include five Cleveland carry bags, plus complementary golf balls for the players from Srixon, and a full set of golf clubs and bag from MV Sports.
Sponsors include Allsorts (longest drive), Rainbow Productions (first par 3 nearest the pin), Start Licensing (second par 3 nearest the pin) and Blues (par 4 nearest the pin in two).
The day will comprise a full 18 hole Stableford competition, with team and individual prizes. In addition, for those who do not play golf or are beginners, there is also the option of long and short game lessons with PGA golf professionals, playing on the par 3 course on the same day.
Both of the above includes bacon rolls, tea/coffee on arrive and a two-course dinner following the day's golf. Registration for both events begins from 9.30am/10am, with a shotgun start at 11/11.30am.
For anyone not able to make the full day, the dinner and presentations will be begin at 6pm.
