Nick Jr’s kids’ TV show, Lily’s Driftwood Bay, has appointed Golden Bear as its new master toy licensee.

The range from Golden Bear will boast soft toys based on the main characters from the series.

“Lily’s Driftwood Bay is a series that has captured the imagination of younger children since launching on air,” said Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager at Golden Bear.

“The fun characters and stories in each episode link into the wonderful creations Lily finds and builds and explores the power of friendship, which connects with both parents and children through simple narrative and beautifully designed animation. We are thrilled to be working with Nickelodeon and Sixteen South to create a beautiful range of toys to delight and inspire fans of the programme.”

Produced and created by Sixteen South, the show first made is debut on Nick Jr in May 2014, and is also available on Channel 5’s Milkshake! and Netflix.

Marianne James, VP of consumer products UK and Ireland and European retail sales and marketing at Viacom International Media Networks, added: “Lily’s Driftwood Bay is a beautiful property, rich with imaginative storylines and charming characters, which will translate beautifully into toys.

“We are delighted to have partners such as Golden Bear working with Lily and look forward to welcoming more category partners in the coming months."
