Licensing association LIMA and research firm GfK have teamed up to produce an exclusive report into digital and gaming.

The report is available to LIMA members only and will be 40 per cent off the usual price. The first will be available from November 1st, and will cover the September 2012 period.

It will give licensors and licensees 'unrivalled' insight into trends, purchasing and pricing in the digital and gaming sectors.

Additionally, it will be available in hard copy and online, and will be updated quarterly. It includes monthly data.

The report covers sales trends, branded and own label pricing, category attributes, online sales trends and household purchase rates across 30-plus product categories. It's collated from retail EPoS data.

Max Templeman, Account Manager for Consumer Electronics at GfK, said: "We are seeing a significant trend for licenses to move into the digital space. This report addresses the need for current research into the consumer electronics, IT and telecoms market and will provide vital management information for licensors and licensees already working or looking to move into those sectors."

Kelvyn Gardner, Managing Director of LIMA UK, commented: "The timing of this report is ideal for licensors and licensees who are looking to capitalise on the Christmas gifting market.

"We’ve had a significant number of enquiries from people looking to take advantage of all types of technology from tablets to internet TV to mobile apps. This report is designed to give people a much better understanding of those markets and what consumers are buying."

To register your interest in the report you can contact Templeman on 0870 603 8263 or email max.templeman@gfk.com.
