The latest in LIMA's webinar series will give insights into the differences in international IP law.

Taking place from 5-6.30pm GMT (12-1.30pm US Eastern Time) on Wednesday May 1st, the session will be hosted by Michelle Lewiston and Louise McAdam, solicitors at London-based law firm, Speechly Bircham.

It will aim to highlight the key differences between the European and US licensing systems. It will also provide participants with an insight into matters that need extra attention during the negotiation and conclusion of IP licences.

The webinar is free to current members or $200 for non members. To book, simply click on this link.

"LIMA webinars are an excellent way for licensors and licensees to get the very latest expert advice on current topics within licensing," explained Kelvyn Gardner, MD of LIMA UK. "With the internet making licensed products accessible across the globe, brand owners need to be aware that the idiosyncrasies of their own national system may not translate when licensing intellectual property rights in other jurisdictions.

"This webinar will be hugely valuable for property owners and distributors on both sides of the Atlantic."
