The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association has elected six new members to its Board of Directors.
Executives from Toys R Us, Copyrights Asia, Meredith Corporation, WME Licensing, CPLG and Televisa Consumer Products have commence their three year terms from July 1st 2015.
Richard Barry, EVP, global chief merchandising officer of Toys R Us, David Buckley, president, Copyrights Asia, Elie Contarsy, vice president of brand licensing at Meredith Corporation, Linne Kimball, vice president of WME Licenisng, Ted Larkins, SVP of CPLG and Marie Del Carmen Rotter Alday, managing director of Televisa Consumer Products, all join.
In addition, Ciaran Coyle, global vice president and head of global brand licensing, Electrolux Global Marketing, was elected vice chairman and Christian fortmann, partner, European trademark attorney, 24IP Law Group was named board designate to the executive committee.
The pair will hold one year terms, while Rick Van Brimmer of The Ohio State University, continues as LIMA board chairman.
“We are excited about our new slate of board members whose wide ranging backgrounds and extensive experience across the global licensing industry bring a valuable 360 degree perspective to the organisation,” said LIMA president, Charles Riotto.
