Lisa Streff becomes SMC's exec VP of consumer products

She will be seek new partnerships for The Jungle Book and more.

SMC Entertainment Group has promoted Lisa Streff to executive vice president for consumer products. 

She joined licensing and brand management firm and US brand owner of the new Jungle Book animated TV series in 2011.

Streff will be responsible for overseeing all divisions of the company managing, TV and Home Entertainment, all licensing sales and retail development, brand management and marketing, social media and creative services. 

She will seek new brand acquisitions and partnerships and spearhead the development of brand strategies for The Jungle book, Dance Academy, H20 Just Add Water and two additional new properties being announced for 2013.

SMC Entertainment Group’s Sarit Ariam, Co-Founder and Head of Legal and Business Affairs, said: "Lisa has always been a valued part of our team.

"As SMC continues to grow, it is critical to have someone handle the company’s current and long-term licensing initiatives. Lisa has played a vital role in the enormous success of the The Jungle Book’s licensing programs.

Some of SMC’s most recent deals for The Jungle Book include; a three-year global promotional agreement with Burger King and the appointment of Sun-Mate Corporation as the North American and global master toy licensee for the animated series.

Current licensing partners for the The Jungle Book include: Phase 4 Films (home entertainment), Isaac Morris (master apparel), Komar (sleepwear and robes), Seasons USA (costumes and Halloween accessories), Nanco–Nancy Sales Company (amusement/crane machine plush), Insight Editions (publishing), Pacific Play Tents (tents and tunnels), My Idol Pops (molded lollipops), The United States Playing Card Company (traditional playing cards), Cosrich (HBA and first aid), Hilco (candy/candy toppers), Wondertreats (Easter and Christmas baskets), Buy Seasons (online party goods), Craftstone (2D plush, fabric storybooks, mini blankets, pillows/cushions and plush hand puppets) and Walls 360 (removable wall decals, wall graphics and stickers – online sales).
