John Wayne Enterprises has appointed former Cookie Jar exec, Lisa Streff, to the newly created position of SVP of global partnerships and licensing, as it looks to expand awareness of the brand.
Streff will oversee the development and implementation of worldwide licensing and merchandising, as well as corporate and promotional partnership programmes for the John Wayne brand.
Her initial focus will be on expanding two core categories: classic collectables (targeting adult collectors and fans), and the John Wayne lifestyle programme (inspired by his western casual heritage and geared towards young adult males).
She will also spearhead a new branded licensing and entertainment programme for kids.

As well as her time at Cookie Jar, Streff has also held positions at NBC/Universal.
