Live Nation looks to grow licensing in China

Global Pursuit to represent firm's roster of over 150 artists across the territory.

Live Nation Merchandise is expanding its licensing efforts in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, inking a new deal with Global Pursuit.

The firm will be handling Live Nation's roster of over 150 music artists including AC/DC, Aerosmith, Coldplay, KISS, Madonna and Maroon 5 among others.

"The Global Pursuit team's vast knowledge of the territories, relationships with local licensees, retailers and wonderful creativity make this an ideal relationship," said Michael Krassner, COO of Live Nation Merchandise. "These markets have been on our radar for some time and we're excited about what lies ahead."

Cynthia Money, president of Global Pursuit, added: "Live Nation Merchandise's roster of artists enjoys enormous popularity worldwide and consumers across Greater China will enjoy the designs which have been developed around these incredible brands.

"Our plan is to methodically identify the most ideal licenses and retail partners who can deliver quality goods that extend consumers' enjoyment of these brands."
