LolliBop, the UK’s biggest children’s festival will be welcoming a host of popular licensed characters to its stage this year, including CBeebies’ Justin Fletcher.
Fletcher will be taking to the main stage at Hatfield House on Saturday, August 16th and Sunday 17th, while the popular Mister Maker will be headlining Friday’s events.
This year will also welcome stars of CBBC’s Big Friday Wind Up, Sam and Mark to the festival for the first time.
Further newcomers to the LolliBop weekend will include Thomas and Friends with a bespoke interactive play experience, Chris and Pui, Scooby Doo The Mystery of the Pyramid, Cook and Line from Swashbuckle and Michaela Strachan’s Really Wild Adventures Show.
Also making its debut at this year’s event will be Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic presents a Silent Disco.
Creative kids will also be invited to Join In with Southbank Centre, in a brand new space for Lollibop 2014; Skylanders will also return to launch the fourth instalment of the franchise, Skylanders: Trap Team.
Other big names for pint-sized festival goers will include Mr Bloom, Andy Day's Live Show, Postman Pat Mini Show, The Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre and Science Museum.
On top of this, National Geographic Kids has planned a Woodlands Takeover, with activities including games, prizes and exploring natural habitats. Other activity will include Beano Events, cookery workshops in the Lolli Kitchen and Baby Ballet among others.
"The 2014 line-up is jam packed with big names for the main stage, alongside an unprecedented number of live theatre performances, sporting activities, creative workshops, nature talks and brand new areas and acts, never before seen at Lollibop," said Gareth Cooper, festival director.
