Lost and Found to air on Channel 4

Contender Entertainment Group and Studio AKA secure deal for book adaptation.

The animated TV version of the Oliver Jeffers book will be screened at 4.30pm on Christmas Eve and again at 12.30pm on Boxing Day.

The original bestselling book was released in 2005, published by Harper Collins and won the Blue Peter Book of the Year award and the Nextle Gold Prize.

Jeffers' artwork has been interpreted by director Philip Hunt an the team at Studio AKA and features a score from composer Max Ritcher. The film is narrated by actor Jim Broadbent.

Contender's director Joan Lofts said: "It is a really beautiful film which captures the spirit of the book absolutely perfectly and Jim's narration is spot on. We are thrilled by how it has all turned out and believe that Lost and Found wil prove to be a new Christmas classic."
