Marvel Entertainment has signed up Maui Jim for a new collection of sunglasses inspired by the forthcoming The Amazing Spider-man.

The range will be sold exclusively in North America at Sunglass Hut from July, coinciding with the film's worldwide release.

In-store signage and window displays will be featured throughout stores in the US and Canada, as well as other authorised Maui Jim retailers outside of North America.

"Maui Jim has developed a collection that fans of the Spider-man franchise will love," said Jamie Kampel, director of licensing at Marvel Entertainment. "The partnership with Maui Jim further supports our overall strategy to break into new licensing categories for the Marvel brand, as well as new distribution channels with major retailers like Sunglass Hut."
