Personalised and celebrity party mask specialist, Mask-arade has been working with the charity Cord to help raise funds and awareness.

Leamington Spa-based Cord supports people in Africa and Asia whose lives have been torn apart by violent conflict. Working with the communities, it helps people to rebuild their lives and build a future free from violence and conflict.

Cord met Mask-arade a year ago and since then the licensee has promoted the charity's work while making monthly donations. Over £2,000 has been raised.

"We are delighted with the total raised by Mask-arade," said Cord fundraiser, Caroline Dolan (pictured with the team). "The team here are very supportive of our work and understand the difference their support has made.

"The funds raised by the team could fund schooling for 35 children in a refugee camp in Chad for an entire year. This will help provide a more positive future for the students whose families lives have been shattered by violent conflict."
