Mattel details Cars 3 toy line

A range of diecast models will launch for fans to enjoy, as well as new play-sets inspired by the film.

In celebration of the release of Disney Pixar’s Cars 3 film, Mattel has released a line-up of new toys featuring diecast and play-sets.

Inspired by the movie, comes the new Disney Pixar Cars 3 Movie Moves Lightning McQueen car, which reacts to motion and goes forwards, backwards, right, left and upside down.

New characters from the film, including Cruz Ramirez are also depicted in Mattel’s range, with the launch of the Disney Pixar Cars 3 Movie Moves Cruz Ramirez car.

A new play-set is also up for grabs in the form of the Disney Pixar Cars 3 Willy's Butte Transforming Track Set.

The set comes packed with accessories as seen in the upcoming film and features Lightning McQueen to start the race.

“The Mattel range captures the iconic characters and scenes from the movie that kids will love,” said Wendy Hill, brand activation director at Mattel UK.

“We are ‘geared up’ for a big summer, with an extensive product range offering some fantastic Cars 3 inspired toys to keep momentum racing through AW17.”
