Mattel has revealed a high profile apparel partnership with Tesco for Barbie.
This will be the first time that the two brands have collaborated on such a project. It will see a full range of Barbie licensed apparel available from Tesco online, with key products also on sale across the UK in-store.
The full range includes separate offerings for younger and older girls, all with iconic Barbie styling.
"This is the first time that Barbie has launched a licensed apparel line with Tesco, and we are really excited about the synergy of these strong brands," said Johanne Broadfield, senior licensing director at Mattel. "Tesco is an ideal home for this apparel range, which is modern, funky and designed to appeal to both younger and older Barbie girls."
The AW11 collection launches on October 24th. It will include tops, tracksuits and leggings featuring a variety of Barbie branding such as tiaras, princess crests and pets.
