New computer-generated boys TV series Max Steel has made its UK debut on Nicktoons.

The show premiered on Saturday, April 13th at 8am. The 26-episode series will air each Saturday and Sunday at the same time.

The Max Steel animated series follows the life and times of teenage boy Maxwell McGrath and his out-of-this-world alien companion Steel, as they overcome trials and tribulations together.

When they 'ultralink' together, Steel helps Max unlock special powers.

“It’s the perfect time to introduce kids to a modern day tech superhero they can relate to,” said Mattel's director of customer marketing Wendy Hill.

"Max Steel is an exciting CGI-animated series that focuses on humour, friendship and teamwork with a positive message that empowers kids to unlock their greatest potential."

The TV series one part of the multi-platform action adventure entertainment franchise from Mattel.
