MGA Entertainment has appointed a new EVP of global licensing as it looks to bolster its domestic and international activities.

Casey Collins - who has a 16-year history in the licensing business - will oversee activities for all MGA and Little Tikes product categories, as well as leveraging retail and promotional activities worldwide for the firm's portfolio of toy brands.

Collins has held positions with Lucasfilm - working on the Star Wars franchise - and World Championship Wrestling, where he was responsible for creating and managing the worldwide licensing programme for the brand.

"We couldn't be more pleased to have found Casey for this important role," said Isaac Larian, MGA CEO. "This is a tremendous time of growth for our company, and we are confident that Casey is primed to spearhead the company's worldwide licensing initiatives in 2011 and beyond."
