MGM Consumer Products signs 18 licensees for RoboCop

Firms including Jada Toys, Glu Mobile, Boom! Comics and Titan Publishing will create lines based on the reboot.

MGM Consumer Products has signed 18 licensees for the new RoboCop film, spanning toys, mobile gaming, apparel and publishing.

Jada Toys has signed as master toy partner and will create a line of action figures, radio-controlled vehicles and role play items while Glu Mobile has launched a free-to-play mobile game.

Elsewhere, Boom! Comics is bring a range of original comics and archival collections to shelves and Titan Publishing has a series of Definitive History of RoboCop coffee table books.

Apparel will come from Freeze and Mishka NYC while RoboCop themed Halloween costumes are on the way from AFG Limited and Smiffy's as well as a range of collectibles from the likes of Medicom, Square Enix, Toyntoys, Play Imaginative and ThreeA and T-Arts.
