Microids to bring Nancy Drew games to Europe in 2014

Microids has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Her Interactive to bring a range of Nancy Drew games to Europe.

Microids will be distributing The Silent Spy, Ghost of Thornton Hall, The Deadly Device, Tomb of the Lost Queen, Alibi in Ashes and The Captive Curse games in Europe next year.

These games see the player become Nancy Drew to solve puzzles and brain-twisters to 'overcome conspiracies,
kidnappings and uncover the truth behind supernatural events'.

“Microids has a long tradition of strong and intelligent female characters leading its adventure games," said Elliot Grassiano, VP of Microi?ds.

"It feels so logical to see Nancy Drew join the clan of iconic heroines as Kate Walker (Syberia), Victoria McPherson (Still Life) or Mina (Return to Mysterious Island).

The Nancy Drew games will be released on PC and Mac in 2014 in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Nancy Drew stories have sold millions in books, movies and TV series, and the globe trotting crime-solving character has now sold more than nine million video games around the world.
