The CG animated series, co-produced with Nelvana Studio, will air every weekday at 4.05pm starting this afternoon.

The launch has been heavily marketed over the past week with on-air trails and the series is set to feature on CBeebies' website, along with an official consumer site, which is now live at www.miketheknight.com and includes games and activities.

The CBeebies premiere follows a launch on Canada’s Treehouse and will be followed by TF1 in France. The series is also set to air over the next 12 months on ABC in Australia, SVT in Sweden, DR in Denmark and NRK in Norway.

Chris Rose VP programming and development, Hit Entertainment said: “Mike has been many years in the making and we are thrilled that the day has finally arrived when the nation’s pre-schoolers will be able to watch our brand new hero for the very first time.”
