Mike the Knight has been sold to TVE in Spain, Mini Mini in Poland, DigiTurk in Turkey and TV Karusel in Russia.
The total number of international broadcast sales for the pre-school property now stands at 21.
Alison Homewood, business head of HIT TV, EMEA said: “We are thrilled with the reception Mike the Knight has received from international buyers. It would seem that broadcasters overseas just can’t get enough of the adventures of our chivalrous little character.”
HIT Entertainment has also sold 14 hours of programming to Emirates airline. The bundle contains content taken from seven different series including Mike the Knight, Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Pingu, Bob the Builder and Angelina Ballerina.
Mike the Knight has already been sold to Super RTL Germany, Cartoon Network in Italy, Hop TV! in Israel, YLE in Finland, RTE in Ireland, NOS in Netherlands, VRT in Belgium, Minimax in Eastern Europe, Canal Panda in Portugal and EBS in South Korea and is a top rating show in CBeebies in the UK, TV1 in France, Treehouse in Canada, Nick Jr in US and ABC in Australia.
