New characters Buttercup and Daisy will join Chapman Entertainment's third series of Fifi and the Flowertots when it airs on Five's Milkshake block from May 1st.
The special 13x10 minute episodes will appear every Friday on Milkshake as part of a new programming initiative called Flowertot Friday.
"Produced in our own studio, we are immensely proud of our world class show," said Greg Lynn, executive producer at Chapman. "It blends the very best of the art of stop frame and cutting edge CGI animation. It's wonderful that Fifi is entertaining children in 166 countries all over the world."
Nick Wilson, Five's controller of children's programming, added: "Buttercup and Daisy add a lovely young dimension to our community of Flowertots. I'm sure the Milkshake audience will take them to their hearts."
Fifi and the Flowertots now has 52 licensees in the UK and was the number one girl's pre-school licence in 2008, according to NPD. It has achieved sales of £157m at retail value to date.
