Nickelodeon has picked up pay TV rights for Millimages' pre-school show Louie for a number of territories.
The firm has secured rights in Europe (excluding the UK and France), Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, and will air Louie this year.
Louie already airs on Cbeebies in the UK, France 5, SuperRTL Germany and ABC Australia. It has an extensive licensing programme in France and agents in Europe and Asia.
An iPad application launched in June 2011 and two special episodes are currently in production.
"Louie continues to be one of our key properties and remains a show that is much-loved globally," said John Reynolds, group commercial director at Millimages. "We are thrilled that Nickelodeon has shown to Louie and that it will now ben seen by new audiences around the world."
